Vinaceous Voodoo Moon Malbec 2012

No tasted in a proper wine glass.

Fruity, jammy, wood, vanilla, a touch of chocolate. Short on body, OK aftertaste, tannic, slightly bitter but easy to drink. 90/100. 27 AUD.

What a disappointment. Foolishly relied on the shop attendant (well, they didn't have any of the reds of the list that we hadn't tasted). Splashed out on our last day but at this price I expected much better. The nose was promising, though not amazing, but the pallate let us down completely. Can't say we didn't try: 5 wines in 6 days (we could have made it 6 out of 6 if we hadn't been so jetlagged on the first day). Two were very good, one OK, and two dissapointing. Shame it was the last two.
